Almhof a la carte restaurant
The combination of high-quality natural products, loving and creative preparation and the “a little more” know-how of our top chefs has been worth a toque at Gault Millau for several years. In 2020 the Almhof was awarded two “forks” by the “Falstaff Restaurant Guide”.
The fans of the Almhof kitchen swear by the preparation of Andreas Huber and Andreas Walter – every day a new treat is conjured up on the plate. The wine selection of the 4 star hotel Der Almhof is adequate and accompanied by wreaths and is represented from all known wine-growing regions of the Alpine republic, but renowned international wines are also on offer.
But the finest drop still comes from the in-house Haimerl / Sumetzberger winery in the Kamptal. (Haimerl winery)

The Almhof has maintained a very good level for several years now. The excellent cuisine, the warmth and, last but not least, the beautiful location ensure a carefree, enjoyable evening.
The service is outstanding and the food is sensational. If you want something extraordinary, you get it.
The staff is very courteous. If you have any questions, everything is explained immediately and in detail.
Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere in the hotel is very familiar and we really liked it. The food was gigantic! The hotel comes highly recommended.
